Dr. Paul Powell

Calvary Bible Ministries is exactly what the name implies. It is a ministry of promoting the King James Version of the Holy Scripture to the ends of the world.

Paul Powell founded Calvary Bible Ministries in 1977 out of a necessity to distribute the King James Bible in areas where Bibles were not easily accessible.

Calvary Bible Ministries distributes Bibles in all 50 states and several foreign countries. It is a local church based ministry with and through the authority of North Harrison Baptist Church, Ramsey IN.

Dr. Paul Powell is the founder and General Director. He has been a Baptist Pastor since 1963. Dr. Powell is by Divine calling a preacher of the Gospel, by experience he is a business man, having worked in the merchandising field before his call into the ministries. He has founded and pastored several Baptist Churches. Presently he is Pastor of the North Harrison Baptist Church where he has served now for 19 years. Patricia, Dr. Powell's wife for the last 40 years, ably assists him, along with his Executive Assistant, Mrs. Leola Nichols, in running the day to day operations of Calvary Bible Ministries.
