A collection of Web Resources for teachers and students of Social Studies, links and ideas for lesson planning using the Web

Useful technology should be just as much a part of the Social Studies classroom as in Math and Science. And since all the various Social Studies disciplines are studies of people, what better place than the Web to start?

Here you will find links to many of the Web Sites I've found useful, and especially connections with teaching the various Social Studies more effectively. I am continually updating both the links and the sections on using the Web for lesson planning and integrating the Web into lessons, so stop by regularly. (And let me hear from you about what works and what doesn't, especially if you have some ideas I can use.
