Lesson Planning With the Web's Help

"It has been said that the primary function of schools is to impart enough facts to make children stop asking questions. Some, with whom the schools do not succeed, become scientists." ---- Knut Schmidt-Nielsen

The Web offers many ways to encourage our kids' natural curiosity. There are many ways to use the Web in lesson planning. Click on "Resources" above for some lesson planning sites. "Using the Web" tries to give some ideas for incorporating the Web into lessons which will encourage and stimulate active learning. "Lessons" includes some lessons I have created and used which are Web-based. I hope to add more as I have time and opportunity.
