The Scientific Revolution
Web Project

Your job today is to design a study guide for a web site. We will be looking at the life and work of Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) and the science of his time. The 17th and 18th centuries were a time of exploding scientific knowledge and changes in thinking. Galileo was part of this.

Keep in mind the Web projects we've done in here as a guide. Here are your guidelines:
    1. You need to have at least eight "clicks" with good, clear instructions.
    2. You need a total of at least ten questions to be answered.
    3. At least two questions need to require some thoughtful analysis to answer (a good paragraph that interprets material).
    4. No questions should have only one word for the answer.
    5. You need to answer your own questions. Be sure it all is legible and clear.
    6. You need to have questions from each of the following subjects:
      1. Biographical information
      2. Inventions
      3. Scientific accomplishments
        The dispute with the Church
      4. The Copernican System (and how it is different from the Aristotelian or Ptolemaic system) as well as why the Church opposed its teaching.
