Some of My Lesson Plans

I've put together a few lessons, so far in a World Civilization course, using the Web as part of what the students do. I have found that the kids really respond, partly because few of them are used to using the Web for education beyond some basic "cut-and-paste" research. Their feedback to me includes comments about these lessons being "hand-on" and "interesting." They get to move at their own pace and draw their own conclusions. I plan to do more of these, and try to include some more specific lessons on using the Web for in-depth research.
These are links to files to use as worksheets. I've included links to html files as well as to the Word documents if that is more helpful. When I have more time, I'll put up the overall lesson plans to go with them.
