Happy 4th of July
THE FOURTH OF JULY
We celebrate the fourth of july in honor
of the people
who fought so many wars for you and me.
They went away from their familys some to die so sadly.
Yet these people who fought our wars
for us to keep us safe and free,
will always be remembered as heroes
to us we are so thankful for them you see.
We only celebrate one day of the year
to honor these people who defended us so diligently,
yet we need to remember each and everyday
if it was not for them we would not be free.
Our lives go on daily as we walk through
life with ease,
only because of our armed forces that will always
be
their to protect you and me.
So lets take our hats off and thank them for all
the pain they surely must have endured.
They left there familys behind to fight battles for
you and me.
Our children are safe
and can walk our streets k
nowing we are protected from harms way.
We have strong and couragious
people still fighting wars
so we may all stay free to this day.
So we celbrate these strong people
by going to parades and taking our hats off
to honor them this way,
we stand at attention as they walk
by knowning the price they had to pay.
We are a strong country,
we can say this only because
of what they did for you and me.
They fought hard and long battles
for us to live this way to be free.
We will celebrate them proudly
thanking them as we know how.
If it wasn't for them fighting these battles
our country would not be free as we are now.
