Little Boy In Baseball World

 I am the greatest pitcher of them all,
little boy loves to play baseball, 
Watch him smile as he pitches the ball. 
So much confidence as he hears
the crowd cheer him on. 
Making him feel like the 
greatest pitcher of them all. 
He feels like Nolan Ryan 
when he pitches the ball. 
He stares down the batter, 
talking with his hands to the catcher knowing his plan. 
He pitch a curve ball 
with the speed of fire, 
as he hears the umpire yell strikeeeeeeeeeee..... One, 
then he gets a grip as he knows 
he has two more strikes to go. 
He looks at the crowd as they watch
with anticipation all the way. 
Feeling the pressure 
he winds up the ball. 
The ball goes up then the 
ball goes down, 
he watches as the 
batter swings Strikeeeeeeee......... Two, 
he hears with the feeling of greatness 
all coming from his little hands. 
He feels like the greatest, 
the greatest pitcher 
of them all as he gets ready 
to pitch his third ball. 
He watches as the batter 
looks him straight in the eye. 
Feeling all the pressure from 
the crowd as they watch 
with desire to see him pitch 
the ball for strike three. 
He winds up his arm 
with fire for the ball, 
then he lets the ball 
go as he watches it go, 
the ball goes up then 
the ball comes down, 
he watches the ball cross 
the corner of the diamond 
knowing it would be a close call . 
He hears the umpire yell 
with a sound of fire strikeeeeeeeeee..........Three 
as he closes his eyes 
and listens to the cheers. 
I am the greatest that is a fact, 
But even he didn't 
know he could pitch that good...
