there's no business like snow business
Saturday afternoon, freezing rain and drizzle turned into a moderate snowfall that wound up dumping somewhere around six inches of snow on Indianapolis, with more predicted for tonight.

Update: I was remiss in mentioning that yesterday, just as I was contemplating the unpleasant prospect of venturing out in that mess to pick up some provisions, our friend Onye called from the grocery store and offered to bring us a few things. Having supplied us with crucial consumables like milk and bread, Onye stayed for some spiced tea. She has our gratitude!
Update 2: The predicted additional snowfall came thru on schedule; the local paper said that total accumulation is on track to break a record. Here's a photo gallery of the snowfall in other spots around the city.
Update: Apparently this is nothing compared to the snowfall on Byzantium's Shores...
