drama in real life
A 5 feet 3 1/2 inches tall, 105-pound woman hiking in New Jersey's Wawayanda State Park escaped serious injury when attacked by a hungry 400-pound black bear by bashing it in the chops with her elbow.
"My biologists tell me that this was a classic predatory attack," [an official] said. "Apparently, it was planning to eat her."
"She did everything right by fighting off the animal, because she would have been severely mauled if she didn't," he said.
