a local thing I took in a bit of local color today: I had a grinder for dinner. (They're submarine sanwiches where I come from.) A light snowfall slowed traffic on US 31, and so when I passed Mancino's Pizza and Grinders, I had both the time and the inclination to stop. The Italian grinder (a house specialty) was quite tasty, and offered plenty left over for lunch tomorrow.

Yo could ask for a Calzone. It is a pizza turned outside in. First time I heard about it I laughed because "calzon" in spanish means women's underwear... as in panties.
Many tipes of pizza, many types of calzones. I still snicker when I hear my wife ask for a calzone (kahl-zoh-nay) over the phone.

We call them subs here in NYC, buster.
So what's going on? Are you still out of town? Watched any good shows/DVDs lately? Did you finish that sandwich? We're due for an update, man.
