I have got to wonder why I, and so many others, keep trying.  Considering that "they" are still in power, still stealing not only money, but lives and livelihoods, still destroying environments to increase their profits, still deregulating themselves from us, still being allowed to get away with it all, by those that are hurt the most by their actions. . . I guess it is because we have no choice.  Do we? Peak oil Global warming Privatization of resources 50% of the tax-cuts going to 1% of our citizens 15% of the tax-cuts going to .1% (1/1,000th) of our citizens The largest prisoner population on the planet, and written history The largest percentage of it's citizens in prison on the planet. . .  and in the written history of any nation The largest deficit in our nation's history The largest trade-gap in our nation's history The largest debt to foreign nations in our nation's history China is about to buy Unocal Protective laws for corporations Cuts in domestic social safety-net programs Cuts in benefits to the troops and their families Not to mention the destruction of the Separation of Powers And the destruction of the Separation of Church and State The complete corruption of the mainstream media A now proven illegal war of occupation for politics and profit And no one is in the streets in protest, revolt, anger. . . I have got to wonder - - Why? ================================================ P.S. Did you know that the population of the United States was ~203-million in 1970, and is now ~296-million?
