Okay...It's 5:45 AM and we're due at the airport at 6:00. You've got
French francs, English pounds, and travellers checks - What else do you need! Right! Good
old US dollars! Alanna worked a lot of hours scooping ice cream since school let out, so
let's stop at the Money machine (what a name!) and pick some up! This shows how teen
excitment translates into action after an interrupted sleep - about 2 hours fuel!
The last digi-snap I was able to take prior to departure! This tour
group booked a flight on American Airlines from Louisville to Dallas, followed by a 9 hour
LAY-OVER prior to boarding a non-stop for Paris! This trip required deposits last
November, and the tour company Cultural Heritage Alliance came Highly recommended!
Fortunately, Danielle H. (left) has an aunt in Dallas who arranged a tour bus to pick up
the 15 students and 5 adults for a non-airport excursion. Parents come through again!
