graphical game of Chess. The interface of the program is very much like popular Windows Chess programs, except that you're playing against a real person instead of a computer! There are two popular programs out now: They are called WsChess and IRCChess. |

WsChess is great program! Besides allowing two people to connect to each other to play, WsChess allows other people to watch the game in progress. There is also a chat box for the players and the observers to chat with each other to discuss the game. It doesn't take alot of windows resources to use. Once you get WsChess downloaded you might want to read the installation instructions and operation FAQ. WsChess is a 176K program. |
IRCChess is also a very nice Chess program. It has all the features of WsChess but also includes: * Teaching Mode * Resizable Chess Board and Chat Window * The ability to calculate ratings based on performance. IRCChess is a little shy of a Meg in size. |
