Gabrox insisted on this, ok?
Little Alien goober will not leave it alone.
So, as he adds to this madness, enjoy?

     "This is all true, then?"
"Yes, Mr. President, every bit." It had been a long
briefing and the sun had fallen below the tree-line. I took my
glasses off and the President winced slightly.
We had told him everything, we always do. Once I thought
leaving the humans in the dark would be more helpful, but I was
outvoted by wiser heads.
"Your people cannot help us, I understand that, but the
horror of it all, every war started on earth, for . . . "
"About the last 2000 of your years sir,"supplied my partner,
"we have only been watching them for 1972 years."
"We could remove them from your planet, we do not think
humanity would survive, we intend to watch until you develop
better defenses."
He straightened, some hopelessness left his eyes, I glanced
over at the Elvis, he nodded.
"The people deserve to know, I realize that there are
dangers, personal dangers. I have never been willing to place
personal safety above the people's rights."
"We will try to keep you alive as long as possible,"I said
"But, please realize sir, if they want you dead, you will be
dead"
"I understand, the country is much more important"
He rose, offered his hand, strange custom, but we took it
for a dismissal. "Good by, gentlemen, and thank you for your
information."
On the way to our ship, the Elvis asked me "Do you think he
will make it?"
"I do hope so, this Lincoln seems to be a great man among
his people, before we leave we will tell the other MIBs to keep a
special watch."
