General Description. This is a 65 mile, moderately hilly route. It starts at the Waddy truck stop, heads east through Avenstoke to the southern outskirts of Frankfort, then south along the Kentucky River bluffs to Ninevah. From there, it circles back through Alton, where there's a good country store, and then into the remote areas of Anderson County. It eventually loops through Birdie (no store there), and then follows two pretty creeks, Timber and Crooked Creeks.
In the spring of 1998, this route was marked with an "N" marking. Some may still be visible but don't count on the markings -- take a map.

Left on Crawford Road (no road sign)
Straight across RR in Avenstoke
Straight across KY 151 at stop; Franklin Co.
Right at stop sign on Evergreen Rd. (KY 1665)
Straight at traffic light across US 127
Right on Old Lawrenceburg Rd. (old 127)
Go to end of road and go left on US 127 briefly to Mills Lane traffic light (caution)
Store @ Mills Lane & US 127
East (left) on Mills Lane toward Kentucky River
Right on Wash Lane (steep downhill)
Right on Ninevah Road at stop; Anderson Co.
Right at stop sign in Ninevah onto KY 326
Right on McCormick & Hammond Rd.
