General. This is a pleasant, rural ride which travels north of US 60, and goes through Benson. The North Benson Baptist Church is worth a stop. Ramble through the cemetery, respectfully. There are no stores or services on this route. The terrain is rolling, with two sharp pitches on Hansborough.

Route Details
Begin in either truck stop and travel north on KY 395. Cross US 60 and continue on 395.
Right on Hansborough. Watch for the sharp hills.
Right on 1472, briefly.
Left on Pilcher Road.
Right on County Line Road (this is the Shelby-Franklin Co. line).
Left on Sheep Pen. Watch for the tracks at the bottom of a steep hill.
Right on 1005. North Benson Baptist Church is on your right, worth a stop.
Right on 1665, through Benson and back across the CSX tracks.
Climb back up to the ridgetop, watching for views both east and west.
Cross US 60 and enter Bridgeport. No store.
Take a quick right and left, following 1665.
Right on South Benson Road. (Note: if you are desperate for a store, going straight instead of turning right here would put you on Evergreen Road and you'll come to a store on the right in a bit.)
Cross KY 151 and continue straight toward Avenstoke.
Right in Avenstoke, just before tracks, on Crawford Road.
Right on 1472 at T.
Descend the hill across I-64 and turn left on Bardstown Trail on outskirts of Grafenberg.
At the intersection with 395, turn right on 395 and return to your car.
