This child lost his mother when he was born, and in the past had to deal with a family problem that many of you prayed about, and the prayers were answered. He has had a wonderful life with his Dad since. Last week His dad went to his room to wake him up only to find he could not wake the child up. An ambulance was called and the child was rushed to the hospital. The DOCTORS can not seem to treat what is wrong with this child. His White blood cells are eating up his red blood cells at an incredibale rate, all the doctors have tried has failed, and the doctors say if they cannot get this under control soon we will loose this baby by Friday. Many of You have talked to this child. He has come into The Born Again Room many times and LOVES GOD Dearly. His dad is by the child's side day and night and refuses to eat until his son is better, as a result is slipping away from us slowly as well, and right now his mind is such he would pray to the devil if he thought it would help his son. We can't let this happen!!! Please, I ask each and everyone of you to pray for this Child and His Dad. For they BOTH NEED YOUR PRAYERS URGENTLY. I am writing on behalf of our church's newest baby Payton. She was born Monday(April 19, 1998) afternoon with her intestines and stomach protruding through a hole in her abdomen. She was sent to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta. They performed surgery on her but were unable to completely reinsert her intestines. So, each day they try to push them in a little farther so when they are in, they can seal the hole. She also has a blockage in her intestines so they had to do a colostomy which she will have for at least six months. I want give him praise with corded instruments ( Ps.150:4 ). I learn play guitar but my guitar is not appropriate: too simple, it is slightly out of tone, and main: width of a neck - 52 mm, and it is a too large for my hand, I have considerable difficulty at accompaniment, at performance chords. I need plain, unaffected guitar. I can't buy such instrument in my country because we have economic ruin and dislocation. I am a schoolteacher, mysalary 60$/month, I'm married, my children - 4 and 11 years. I can't buy guitar now, really, but I know that Jesus said : " Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Please pray for my 5 month old son, Zachary. He has already been through so much being born 13 weeks premature. I know God has been with him from the beginning giving him the strength to overcome the battles which he has already had to face. He now has a tumour growing in his back muscle which the doctors do not know if it is malignant or benign. He is scheduled for surgery on April 9th, which is risky with him being only 8 pounds and the tumour being so close to his spine. Please pray for his complete healing and that he does not suffer too much pain as the incision will be the whole length of his back and they will be cutting right into his muscle. The only pain medication that he can have is Tylenol. Please also pray that my other two children do not feel that I have abandoned them as I will be 1 1/2 hours away from home and will not be back home until my son is discharged. Please add my family to your prayer list. We are currently in the process of trying to adopt a foster child who is six months old. He is in foster care because his parent's parental rights have been revoked by the state. They are charged with the beating death of his 2 1/2 year old sibling. We have prayed for a child for quite sometime. Our immediate love and somewhat overwhelming sense of attachment to this child has led us to believe adopting him is God's answer to our prayers for a child. Our family has expressed some concerns, as the child is black and we are white. We do not, nor have we ever considered race an issue concerning anything. We truly are non-racist and are somewhat surprised by the reaction of people who confess to have the same beliefs. It is amazing that they profess to have concern for the child's future and the predjudice that would be heaved upon all of us if we continue the process of adoption. We feel that in God's eyes this is a child who needs a loving, devoted home and we have a home with four people who want to provide this for him. We are only concerned with the child's wellbeing and want to do God's will. We would appreciate your prayers for guidance and direction on this journey to help ourselves and this child in a somewhat special situation. My husband reminded me of a statement our minister made in a recent sermon: Sometimes doing as a Christian should is not going to be understood or encouraged by everyone around you, but God will give you everything you need to succeed in his work. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, On November 15, 1996, Megan Markus, a vibrant high school senior, was in a very serious car accident. Megan, who is a Fairport, New York Cheerleader, was on her way to cheer the soccer team during the state finals. The accident occurred because another driver was not driving safely. Megan was rushed to Strong Memorial ICU (Rochester, New York) where she struggled for her life for six weeks. She was transferred to St. Mary's Hospital (Rochester, New York) for brain rehabilitation. Megan, a cheerleading coach for young girls, had goals of becoming a special education teacher. She is an outstanding role model who gives willingly with her heart. Megan was "coma-emergent," meaning she emerges from the coma periodically and tries to respond to commands, but isn't fully aware of her surroundings. She has returned home and is now "minimally conscious," which means she is aware of her surroundings and tries to respond to them. Two weeks ago, she was able to stand. PRAISE THE LORD!!! Please brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray for a complete divine healing. So that God's Name will be Glorified!!! Also pray for peace for Megan's family. Pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus. We are having severe financial problems and are about a month behind on a large consolidated debt payment (consumer credit). We continue to receive threatening letters and phone calls and have been recieving them for almost two years. Not sure how much more we can take it, would be much easier just to file for bankruptcy. My wife is working long hours at a job she hates and driving many miles each day to and from work. Our financial problems greatly hinder everything we try to do in ministry. Not sure how much longer we can go on before one of us breaks emotionally or our health is severely affected. Right now my wife needs to go to a doctor and probably needs surgery, but we can't afford it. Please pray for her healing. Please pray for us that my wife will be able to have a better job that is less stressful. Please pray that we will be able to have the strength to continue ministry in spite of our financial problems. Depression is a constant problems for both of us. Please pray that we can pay off our debt without bankruptcy at a faster rate than we are now. Please pray that we can increase our income and reduce our expenses. Please pray for us. I know that debt, bill collectors, jobs you hate, etc., can make things seem hopeless, but I know from experience that things can get better. My wife and I have faced similar circumstances. One of the things that helped was a book entitled "Financial Peace," written by Dave Ramsey, host of "The Money Game" radio talk show. Ramsey is a financial expert who specializes in debt, and more importantly, how to get out of debt based on biblical principles. The principle is, basically, to put your faith in God, and work your way out of the hole by using good stewardship of your resources. He also stresses that debt can be defeated, but you have to realize that you can defeat it. Ramsey knows about harassing phone calls, shame, and other things that go with debt, because 10 years ago he was forced to file bankruptcy. The book is written in simple terms, but not so simple as to be useless. Most of all, it offers encouragement. Please try to find it at the library or in the bookstore. Dear friends in Christ: I need a miracle!!!!! I have not been well for years now and cannot get a doctor to take me seriously. The main reason for this is that I have a non - verbal learning disability/ADHD and am a female and do not come across as the most relaxed person on this earth. I am not the best at social graces and because of this I have been taken lightly. For the past 2 years I have witnessed unexplained weight gain, anxiety, tiredness, menstrual changes, hives and allergies (worsen), forgetfulness, tremors in my hands (off and on), my voice becomes hoarse & husky, I have been snoring (loud according to family members), heart acting funny, mood swings, frequent urination, muscular cramps and aches, increased sensitivity to medication, moles on my skin and increased facial hair. Over the past 3 years I have had 3 bouts of anemia (currently blood levels normal) and lowered resistance to colds and infections. I also have arthritis in my back. Many medical conditions run in my family, Diabetes (father, Grandmother and Grandfather) both latent onset and juvenile, kidney problems, Epilepsy. Myasthenia gravis (mom had it), Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (Mom, uncle have it), Thyroid trouble (mom had graves disease..tumor found in thymus and both thyroid and thymus removed), Hypertension, Sleep Apnea ( father), Cancer, Cirrhosis and liver disease (Grandmother, Dad), my nine year old nephew suffers with a rare non-essential Amino Acid deficiency called Hyperglycinemia which is an inability to metabolize the Amino Acid Glycine (it affects 1 in a million children and causes Severe mental retardation, blindness,deafness and hypotonia. I am not a hypochondriac..I avoid doctors and self medicate because of the way I am usually treated due to my hyperactivity. Yet lately the symptoms have started to affect my life in significant ways, so I have been searching for answers. My doctor placed a holter monitor on me and found benign arrhythmias, stated that the blood work came back that I had high cholesterol and did a thyroid ultrasound which indicated a multi-nodular goiter problem. My doctor told me my goiter wasn't that big and that my arrhythmia�s are probably due to stress. No further testing was done..none of my questions answered. Gosh I hate that word stress. it is the panacea for lazy doctors anymore...instead of figuring out what is wrong let's label it stress. Now I am stuck without any answers and I still feel lousy. I firmly believe their is something wrong with my thyroid or some other endocrine gland since many of my symptoms are indicative of a hormonal problem. HERE IS MY EVIDENCE: 1. A goiter was found..not a very gigantic one but nevertheless a goiter 2. Genetics..it runs in my family 3. Benign arrhythmias found with Holter monitor 4. Menstrual changes 5. Increased facial hair ( not super amount but visible), Hives, Moles 6. Mood swings 7. Doctor found high cholesterol levels 8. Gaining weight with decreased appetite 9. Voice changes...husky & raspy ( loud snoring at night) 10. Allergies and drug sensitivity increased 11. Lethargic 12. Muscle spasms 13. Bloated stomach 14. Face swollen looking Need I say more..........Can you please help me? I am desperate? Pray I find a good doctor I could go to. I have become suicidal and violent because of my frustration over this plus i just recently lost my job and my dad died and two years ago my mom died... I want these bad feelings out of my life i want to feel hope and to try again. i have become beligerent and lazy ...please help me!!!! I am mad at God now because i only get temporary relief. i feel on the edge. Please pray i have the courage to remain sane, christiaN AND STRONg DURING THIS AND THAT I DO NOT HURT ANYONE OR MYSELF. tHAT MY TENSED MUSCLES, TENDONS AND LIGAMENTS RELAX..THAT I SLEEP AT NIGHT AND HAVE PLEASANT THOUGHTS AND SEE AND FEEL HOPE. THAT GOD LETS ME FEEL HIS LOVE..i AM SCARED!!!! I WANT TO CHANGE BUT DON'T KNOW HOW..I AM SICK MEDICALLY BUT SPIRITUALLY AND EMOTIONALLY TOO..pLEASE ASK GOD TO HEAL ALL THREE AND TO BE PROTECT ME FROM MYSELF. I DON'T WANT MY FREE WILL ANYMORE i WANT HIM TO TAke over my life before it is too late. I would also like to have prayers that I am kinder to myself and less admonishing.
