I would like to request that constant intercessory prayer be raised to Jehova God about Janet an ex-missionary who is backslidden. May God rescue her from her rebellion and impart in her a new heart and guidance from the holy spirit. Break the chains of rebellion, pride, lasciviousness, sexual promiscuity, sexual sins and fornication. Isa 35:8-10 8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it. 9 No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, 10 and the ransomed of the LORD will return. Lord please show Janet the road she must continue to walk. | I ask that you please pray for me and stand in agreement according to God's Word, Matthew 18:19-20. I have gotten myself into some trouble which I was not fully aware of the consequences and there is a chance I could go to prison and lose my job. I have been saved and am a Christian looking to God to grant me a second chance and keep me from prison and that I do not lose my job. I pray constantly but the waiting is begining to wear on my faith as I do not know what is going to happen. I look at all the problems out there and wonder why God would answer my prayer and not others and this weighs on me. Pray the judge will grant me a second chance and that all involved will also. Urgent SOS Prayer Request!
From Dr. Michael Smith of Emmanuel Church, Fleetwood, England. Some weeks ago we asked for prayer from our Internet friends concerning the purchase of a property for our Christian School and other ministries. We were sure God had been leading us, but the deposit of £70, 000 ($100,000+) had nor been secured. We also needed mortgage facilities for the balance. Right on the final date, up on the deadline the last £5, 000 came in, and the deposit was paid over - a real answer to prayer! And then a bank agreed to the mortgage needed, but with conditions, the most difficult being to find a guarantor for £100, 000 to cover us in case things turned sour. And, again, a great answer to prayer as a businessman not connected with the church offered to stand as guarantor! The contract was duly signed, and the date of completion fixed. And then we were asked for a further guarantee of £100, 000 as our guarantor was not prepared to put his money "up front" into the bank, although he stands by his offer. The bank suggested a compromise: £500, 000 immediately, the balance in twelve months. But the owners of the property are not prepared to accept this, and have told us that they will now sell the property to another bidder (they have several waiting to buy!) We have twenty-four hours either to find a further guarantee (no money is needed to be given, but a properly secured guarantee will suffice) or else to find £100, 000 to supplement the bank's loan. We cannot believe God has led us this far only to have the thing snatched from us at the last minute! God must meet us, or the School will be forced to close down, despite the fact it is growing more rapidly now than in its twenty-year lifetime! The new ministry to the physically disabled will have to be abandoned, despite a non-Christian's donation of £10, 000 for this great work. Please, please, stand with us! Dear Friends,
The prayer request is for my mother Dr. Annie Oommen who is a cancer patient. She is a professor and now 'coz of her illness she has taken voluntary retirement. There is no medicine as such for her -other than prayers- She is surviving just on that. Do keep her in your prayers. Thanx a lot, God Bless Reesha | ||
