| Anton came to America in 1852. The earliest residence for him in Louisville is living on Cane between Logan and Wentzel in 1859. He was a boot and shoemaker and owned his own business. IN 1870 his business was located on Cane St. and valued close to $9000. Anton died on July 7, 1903 of heart failure with senility contributing |

| Clara immigrated to America in 1853. She married Anton in Louisville on December 4, 1853. John Klavo and Barbara Sheber were their witnesses. C. J. Boeswald presided. It was noted that they were marrying without parents and had immigrated to this country unwed. They lived most of the time on Logan or Cane Streets. Clara died on December 3, 1909 of capillary bronchitis. |
