GROUCHO MARX ~ My hero, was the funniest and most intelligent comedian the world has ever known. Groucho said, "Outside of a Dog, a book is a mans best friend. Inside of a Dog, its too dark to read". My love for Groucho Marx tends to permeate this website, so look out for his ghost appearing from time to time. I created the website Groucho Marx Slept Here as a tribute to a man who has given me many laughs. The Marx Brothers brand of comedy is anarchy at its apex. If you have never seen one of their movies, run to the nearest video store and allow yourself to be enlightened. Be prepared to have your outlook on society permanently altered!
Collecting ~ I have been collecting sports cards for 28 years. Portions of my collection are posted elsewhere in this site. Other collections include Autographs, also posted in this site, Antiques, over 300 movies, Coins, stamps, post cards, ticket stubs from events I’ve seen and anything that is of sentimental value to me. The fact is: I'm a pack rat. Movies ~ The Marx Brothers movies, Life of Brian, The Holy Grail, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Forest Gump, The Man Who Would Be King, The Fisher King, Barfly, Bladerunner, The Godfather and The Star Wars Trilogy. Music ~ Fishbone, Oingo Boingo, The Who, The Clash, Devo, Primus, Living Colour, Funkadelic, Soundgarden. Books ~ Groucho and me, (yes he was also a writer), Charles Bukowski, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Dean Koontz, Steven King, Bad as I wanna be, (Dennis Rodman is the Man), Winters’ Tails, (short stories by Jonathan Winters). Sports ~ What in the world would I do without E.S.P.N. !! Sports make my world go round. Football - A Great spectator sport. Basketball is a game sent from heaven. Gambling - it is a sport isn’t it ? Horse Racing (Churchill Downs Rules) Kentucky Wildcats Basketball ~ (1948, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 & 1998 N.C.A.A. Champions) "Thank you", Rick Pitino, for bringing the greatest team in College Basketball back to the top!! Tubby Smith, You are the man and Coach of the year in 98. Go Big Blue! Minnesota Vikings Football ~ This team rules!! What a year The Vikings had, 16 and 2, but alas no Super Bowl again. Hey! It takes character to worship a team that never quite makes it over the top!! WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR! Cincinnati Reds Baseball ~ The "Big Red Machine" will be back in the World Series! in 1999. Adventures ~ Skydiving, Backpacking, Hiking, Skiing, Mt.
