I apologize for neglecting to update the website... and for putting this letter off for so long. I simply didn't have the heart to do it until now. Or the time, to be honest. The past year has brought many changes for me. One in particular has led me to this difficult decision. After starting this website over 4 years ago, I have decided to close it down. I would rather not do the polls at all than to give them less attention than they deserve.

I want to stress that my decision has nothing to do with the shows themselves. I am enjoying both ATWT and GL now more than ever. I will continue to watch and be a loyal fan. I truly do love the shows and always will, no matter what.

I feel as if I do owe those of you that have supported me and this website a more detailed explaination for closing it after such a long time. Simply put, it is a time issue. In late April of last year, I ran across something called The Palace online. I had never seen anything like it before... and was amazed. The Palace is a visual chat community made up of many individual palaces. There is something for everyone there..you just have to find it. You use avatars (pictures) to represent yourself and sit in rooms. It is something you simply have to see to believe. It has sound, music, animation.. It is truly a wonder to behold. In June, I was hired to work as a hostess at one of the then popular palaces. I made some very dear friends whom I hope to share a lifetime with there.

Alas, many of us grew uncomfortable with the direction that particular palace was going in. In August, two close friends and myself were presented with an offer we could not refuse.. the opportunity to build and design our own palace. You see, anyone can have a small personal palace.. But it is fairly difficult to move beyond that and have a real public palace that operates 24/7. But, we were offered this chance..and ran with it. Ok, I ran with it. *smile* My partners needed to bring closure to some other issues before they could be there with me fully. So, as you can all imagine, I have been working my tushy off on this creation. We opened our doors to the public on January 1, 2000. I must admit, I was shocked. I never realized how much time I would need to spend there to keep it running smoothly. I am very lucky to have a wonderful staff working with me, or I would never get to sleep! *smile* Anyway.... our palace is a huge success and is simply demanding every free moment I have.

With that, I want to wish everyone a fond farewell.... and thank you so very, very much for everything over the past four years. This was not an easy choice for me, but one that was necessary. I hope to see you all again!
