Dear Friends:

On Saturday April 7, 2001 2:00 p.m. at Bob Hedge Park we will be having Bob’s annual Easter egg hunt for the community’s children. The egg hunt is for children ages’ birth to 12 years of age. In addition to hunting eggs, a bag of candy will be given at the end of each hunt to every child who participates. Also, the Easter Bunny will be present for photos and hugs for the children. Finally, there will be prizes for the most eggs found and prizes for finding the special egg. In order to provide these special "extras", this is where I need your help. As you know it takes money to provide prizes, candy and eggs. This would be impossible without the help of Bob’s friends. We have found in the past that if you would let us purchase the baskets we could insure that they are all alike. A $25.00 donation would purchase an appropriate basket and assist in the financing of this event. If you would like to personalize the basket, you may send campaign buttons, stickers, or any other memorabilia to decorate them. You can even present your basket, if you would like. We would love to have your support and participation with families in your community! All donations will be acknowledged at the hunt regardless and greatly appreciated. Make checks payable to Bob Hedge Memorial Foundation. Any money collected over and above the cost of this event will go to Bob’s annual Stickhorse Derby.

The 17^th annual Bob’s Stickhorse Derby will be held at 2:00 on Saturday

April 28, 2001 at Bob Hedge Park. We need your support for that event also and for this event we need children ages 1 – 6 and sponsors. All proceeds for this event will go to "Crusade for Children", "Muscular Dystrophy" and Clark County " Shop with a Cop". I will be sending you more information on the Stickhorse Derby as soon as possible. Pre-registration is a necessity for the racing program, but as always no child will be turned away.
